He created a melody
Just for me
As I watched him through the TV screen
Hat fit perfectly on his head
Peaking out were a few dreads
A three and a half video, isn't enough
And I blame his sexy voice and skills on the guitar
For my school girl crush
Makes me wish I was the "girl" "taking him under" for
At least "6 seconds" so I can show him how we "fit
together".
It's my secret treasure.
That listening to a cd can have me imagining his hands
strumming across strings.
I have my own private concert.
If only I really were a "painter", so at least on
canvas his eyes really could see me.
Not just a screen or posters on the wall.
A touch of lips, holding hands, ...okay, ...I'd settle
For a deep conversation if that's all I could get.
No, I haven't met him yet.
He just might be my unattainable dream.
Or maybe he's waiting on me to make it happen by
Vocalizing this thing.
Whatever the case,
