| Red Wines 2005 Jazz Merritage-Jazz is a blend of premium red varietials (Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah) that are either Estate Grown or contracted to Branham Estate Wines Winemaking. The wines used in this blend were fermented an average of 11 days, hand pumped over three times per day and pressed at dryness to French oak. Aged in French oak, 20% new, for 16 months 2005 Elizabeth Spencer Cabernet-Winemaker Notes Dense, rich ruby red color. Exhibiting well-balanced aromas of ripe mulberry, cherry and black raspberry highlighted with a hint of smoky oak. High-toned and richly flavored, this flagship Elizabeth Spencer Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic, opulent, wellstructured wine with firm tannins. Interestingly this is the exact same wine as a 98 point rated $250 a bottle cabnernet on the market but at less than 1/5th the price. 2003 Saddleback Cabernet-WSI - 93 Winemaker Nils Venge (Plumpjack, Venge, Keenen) Ripe, structured and notably complex. The currant, blackberry, black cherry and plum flavors are joined by hints of anise and espresso. The tannins are rich and supple and the finish repeats the fruit and pepper themes. 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Merlot from the Salvestrin Estate Vineyard in St. Helena. Aged in 60% new French (80%) and American (20%) oak for 22 months. 1,800 cases made. Best from 2007 through 2015. Ive side by sided this with plumpjack and its almost identical for half the price. 2004 Jus Soli Pinot Noir-Winemaker Tom Garrett (formerly of Turley Wine Cellars, Joseph Phelps, Robert Mondavi. Along with his winemaking duties at Jus Soli and Detert Family, Tom is also the assistant winemaker and general manager of Revana Family Vineyard where he works under winemaker Heidi Peterson Barrett.) 2004 is bright, dark in color and has more fruit and structure than 2003. Sweet aromas of strawberry, dried-cranberry and red-cherry lead, with intriguing background notes of spice. The flavors echo the aromas, with hints of plum, vanilla and mild baking spices joining in. The texture is full and plush, but also more structured than past vintages, finishing with pleasant tannins. 265 cases produced White Wines 2005 Tremani Pino Gris -90 points" Double Gold medal winner and best of class. Vibrant and juicy, with lively aromas of lime, peach and spice and long, complex flavors of citrus, fennel and fresh minerals. Great finish. Their style is a dry wine with no oak and no malolactic fermentation. This allows the natural fruit and spice flavors of the grapes to best express themselves and, when combined with sur-lie aging and a cold fermentation, produces a smooth and refreshing wine which compliments any food. 2005 Bonneau Private Reserve Chardonnay-Winemaker Phil Titus. This wine shows a full golden-straw color. The nose displays ripe aromas of ripe pineapple and candied lemons intermixed with white peach and accented with nutty hints. On the palate the wine is creamy, round and juicy with succulent citrus and tropical flavors tastefully framed by delicately toasted French Oak. The finish is lush and shows a delightful suggestion of vanilla bean. 2006 Two Wives Sauvingnon Blanc-The 2006 Sauvignon Blanc exhibits floral and citrus aromas with hints of grapefruit, lime, and melon. The texture is crisp and clean with refreshing acidity in the finish. The wine displays an extraordinary balance between crispness and fruit flavors. 765 cases produced.
