JAKES JUSTICE
Keira and Wayne Knight had a beautiful baby boy names Jake.  He was 18 months old and just starting to walk, he had leanrt to say Mama.

Jake had a chest infection and was taken to Queens Park Hospital in their home town of Blackburn, Lancashire in July 2001.  Doctors feared he was suffering from a heart defect and transferred him to Alder Hey Hospital, the hospital blasted for retaining organs of children without permission.  It was during a gamma test for blood clots that Jake was on his mommas lap.  Nurse Aru working with another nurse made her mistakes.  Keira insisted, "He was quite weak but happily sitting on my knee mumbling to himself and playing with toys"  "Aru and the other nurse were concerned that Jake was not keeping still for his scan pictures.  I heard Aru say "Ill give him something to calm him down"  She then jabbed the little boys leg.

That was the last time Jake's Mommy saw him concious.

An inquest ruled on Friday that this child was unlawfully killed.  Yet unbelievably Nurse Aru is back on the wards of Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool, less than eighteen months after this tragedy.

Jakes parents never received an apology from Alder Hey, there were just given some leaflets about coping with the death of a loved one.
We want something done about this and need help , please read on our other pages, how you can help our fight for Justice.
