I purchased the bike in 1999 from a friend's father. The bike had been sitting in a barn for three years without use. I serviced and cleaned the bike, and have been using it for the last 6 or 7 years. I am a stickler for regular maintenance and modifications. The bike has been slightly modified for increased power, no internal engine components have been modified. I have maintenance records for the last year on this bike. No problems, just regular maintenance.
I rode this bike to campus for years, and there is nothing better than front row parking at every building! The bike is currently inspected, but the registration has lapsed. I will transfer the title to you, and you can register it under your name. The bike has aggressive street legal tires, blinkers, horn, mirror, highbeam/lowbeam, brake/taillight, and speedometer. The bike gets about 45 - 50 mpg, depending on driving style, on a 3.5 gallon tank. You can drive close to 200 miles before refueling. Insurance costs me $149.99 annually. It is very cheap and enjoyable to operate.
I am moving to Houston in May, and do not plan on driving it there. I would like to sell it to another student at ATM.
