9/20/02: Sorry about the lack of updates, but it has been quite newsless over the past few days.  However, I found this bit of Simpsons related news.  Ever heard of the term 'jumping the shark'?   The Simpsons are mentioned, along with a slew of other shows here.

Finally, I overheard on the radio that  a new product that is, in principle, another case of Life imitating the Simpsons.  In 2003, a dog collar company will be making a device that will be attatched to a collar that will take the dog's barks and translate them into plain English. (In case you haven't seen the Simpsons Episode, it is "Brother can you Spare Two Dimes", which originaly aired in Season Three. In the show, Herb Powell, Homer's half-brother, invents a baby-translator that takes baby babble and turns it into English.)
