Forbidden Love

Danny Woo and Sara Pezzini, best friends and partners in the NYPD. Most of the time when two people are partnered together the friendship ends the minute they are off the clock. That isn't so with Danny and Sara, they are best friends on as well as off the clock. Ask anyone who works with him or her and they will tell you that they are the best damn team on the force. But ask me and I will tell you the truth.

I'm Jake McCartey, a kinda third wheel to the famous twosome. But honestly, I see something between those two that everyone else is blind to. I see the underlying tension that flows between the two, the kind that can only be solved with one thing. I watch them everyday. I see the hooded looks that they give each other when they think the other isn't looking, I see the smiles that pass that go way deeper than friendship.

Danny's married. Has been for awhile. But the sweet side of his wife that people see isn't who she really is. She's a bitch, plain and simple. She hates Sara, can't stand her. And as I have overheard in conversations between Danny and Sara, calls her the green eyed bitch. Danny always tries to smooth it over between them because his kids and his niece loves her to death. But one day Sara is gonna snap on the scrawny little bitch and it isn't going to be pretty. It's almost funny sometimes, watching them struggling against something they are going to lose against. Not funny ha ha but funny ironic, they love each other. So much so that Sara beat the living hell out of Danny to get him off the guilt trip he was on when the serial killer got out of prison. You think his wife cared? Nope, she didn't even notice the difference so Sara took him into the training room and beat the hell out of him.

I have to wonder how long it will be before something happens between them. I look at them suppressing the feelings and I have to think that they both have incredible self-control. Most people would have acted on those feelings a long time before. One day, mark my words, a look is going to turn smoldering, a touch is going to turn into a caress, and a hug is going to last just a little bit too long. Its going to happen, and from what I see it is going to happen pretty soon.
