Jackie: Wed like to welcome our guest once again to the show, David Chokachi from the Witchblade. Hey Buddy How are you doing?

David: Whats happening?

Jackie: How many seasons has Witchblade been on now?

David: This is our second season.

Jackie: Just your second season?

David: Yeah, but weve kinda, its almost our 3rd Season because of the 2 hour original movie, which is almost kind of a season in its self.

Jackie: Yeah, I was just going to say I feel like its been around a little bit longer than that.

David: Yeah, its been around for three years. Been in production.

Jackie: Now, how is Yancy doing? I know Id read that she had gone into rehab. Wed talked to her, and we REALLY liked her a lot.

David: Yeah.

Jackie: Is she doing OK?

David: Shes doing fantastic, yup.

Jackie: Oh Good.

David: Shes back, and were shooting away. Were um, you know shes cranking, shes strong, and she looks wonderful.

Bender: Did he say shes cranky?

David: Cranking

Jackie: Shes cranking right along. Hanging in there

Bender: Oh, cranking.

David: Nah, shes good. Shes doing really well.

Jackie: Oh good, cause I really liked her. She has a really good personality, and I was sad when I read that.

David: She does. Absolutely.

Bender: And shes a bad ass.

Jackie: She IS a bad ass.

David: Shes a bad ass is right, yup

Bender: We have David Chokachi on the phone with us. Of course, one of the stars of TNTs Witchblade.

Jackie: How much time does it take of your life right now to shoot while the season is on?

David: A little over 6 months.

Jackie: Its 6 months of the year, so what do you do on your 6 months off?

David: Play.

Jackie: Good for you.

David: Go on trips, snow board, surf.

Bender: I so got to be a friggin actor, what a gig.

Jackie: I know, its like being a school teacher, but you get 6 months off.

David: No, no, actually, I mean obviously you look for other work. It just depends whats going on. But you get a fair amount of down time.

Bender: Thats , thats the politically correct answer to say. Dude your first answer was PLAY.

David: (laugh)

Jackie: Thats what you say to your agent thats listening.

David: You have to make sure, just in case you know your agents listening or something, you have to tell them, "yeah, Im really there to work".

Bender: Has Hasselhoff contacted any of you guys and said, "Look business is a little slow, lets try to bring back Baywatch, maybe a little special, try to bring back Bay Watch Nights" what do you think?

David: No, I stay in touch with him and hes doing well. Hes got some stuff going on. Yeah, he hasnt really thrown that out there yet. Although, I think theyre going to do the movie.

Jackie: Yeah, Ive heard about that. You know weve talked to several people that have been on Baywatch, and most people have the same reaction. Theyre kind of glad that they were done with it. Every scenario had been played out. I would think as an actor you would start getting bored with it after a while.

David: Personally I loved it, just by being outside and doing the things we got to do. I loved it. But you know, as an actor I think there is a time when you have to make a move, and go challenge yourself, and grow and learn new things. You know I had done 4 years, and I owed them one more, but they didnt have a home, it was right when they left LA and they were looking for either Hawaii or Australia, and it seemed a little too iffy, so they let me go do my thing.

Jackie: That was nice of them.

David: But it was a fun show, it was a really fun show to do.

Bender: (sarcastically)Yeah, Im sure it was hard to work.

Jackie: (laughing)

David: (laughing)

Bender: David Chokachi is on the phone with us.

Jackie: Now, is there anything, cause I know like you said you're on a series on your off time you try to get projects or movie deals. Is there anything you turned down that you went "God that just seems corny", and then it did really well?

David: A couple porns (laughing)

Morning show (All laughing)

David: No, not really. You know I mean, I love working, so if there is anything, if you can learn something, and youre working and its a good project. Im not one of these people that Ill sit around and starve for 3 years and wait for some project to drop out of the sky that I think has potential to win some festival or something. You know what I mean.

Jackie: Yeah

David: So no regrets.

Bender: The program Witchblade, TNT, Monday nights, 9 o clock, David Chokachi, Dude thanks for being on the show again. We appreciate it.

David: You bet, Check out the Witchblade

Jackie: We will. Thanks buddy. Take care.
