Meet the latest addition to the family -- Indie. Indie was whelped April 3, 2004 as a BIG singleton. Her sire, Integra Indelible Ink of Merridon, was the number one tri sheltie in the country at the time of her birth, her dam was out of the famous Dundee Amos Moses ROM/ROMC and there were high hopes for Indie's future in the breed ring. But Indie had other plans! When Indie continued to grow at a rate that was off the charts, her breeder, Lola Farney, allowed me to take Indie home as my performance prospect. Ironically, Indie's height maxed out at 16.125 " and dropped back to 16" when Indie reached the age of two!
Indie is fiercely independent and has more drive than my other shelties, but she also has a sharp intellect and is the fastest learner I've trained to date. Indie has been training in obedience, agility, tracking and herding since puppyhood and was titled through the levels of UD, RE,AX, and MXJ before the age of 3.
I look forward to many more years of training, competing, and living with this fascinating little girl!
