Jakarta Chamber Music Music Journey 1984- now

1984- Herry Rajasa started as 'Le Parisien' Residence Pianist at Hyatt Aryaduta-Jakarta

1987-Herry assisted by Sudarmadi (Cellist) and Ivan(Viola) formed a new formation of chamber music called Jakarta Sextet. Consisted of 6 accoustic instrument players which are:

Piano(Herry Rajasa); Violin(Su Yin); Viola(Ivan); Cello(Sudahrmadi); ContraBass(Amir Katamsi). Jakarta Sexted was hired first time in Hyatt Aryaduta at the new renovated 'Ambassador Lounge' September 1987 whilst Herry still playing at the second floor 'Le Parisien'.

1990-Herry split up with above friends and moved to Grand Hyatt formed a new group called the Jakarta Chamber Music which were consisted of Piano(Herry); Flute/Saxophone (Budi) and Violin(Christin Lesmana.
1992-the New Jakarta Chamber Music moved to Ramayana Terrace-Hotel Indonesia
1992-1993 Moved to Clipper Lounge - Mandarin Hotel.
In 1993 till 1995-Herry met Hary Wisnu(Flute) and Yasin(Cello). He renewed the group and add the members including vocal and cello/contrabass. The group now consisted of Piano(Herry); Flute(Hary Wisnu); Cello(Yasin) and Vocal(Stella); sometimes we used contrabass(Jimmy Kapitan) replacing cello and violin(Sadrakh Hutapea) replacing flute.
It was Hotel Sahid Jaya which hired the renewed Jakarta Chamber Music from 1993 till 1995
In 1995-1996 Herry played duo only in Mercantile Club-Wisma BCA -Jakarta with Sadrakh Hutapea(Violin)
At the same year Herry also played a solo piano in Hotel Kartika Chandra Kirana-Jakarta
In 1996- Again Jakarta Chamber Music renewed the contract with Sahid Jaya Hotel playing at Sukoharjo Lounge.
Jakarta Chamber Music occasionally played for Big events such as Wedding Party, Gala Dinner, Fashion Show, Product Launching and private Birthday Party etc.
In 1998- Herry was asked by Jimmy Kapitan to play at Shangri La Hotel to accompany the Accapella Singers(Teddy and friends)
In 2001-2002 - Herry renewed contract of Jakarta chamber Music to play at Sahid Jaya Hotel for 6 months period only at Sukoharjo Lounge.
Since then, JCM has not signed for regular routine music entertainments anywhere but specializing on Wedding, Gala Dinner, Product launching, Off-Air and On Line TV event.
