The World's Biggest Curry Lunch is a fun, simple fundraising idea which invites everyone across the UK to host a curry meal for their family, friends and colleagues in return for making a donation to the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF). The ABF is the soldiers' charity which provides support to soldiers, retired soldiers and their families in times of need, and aims to raise �150,000.

Big Curry Week begins on 21 April and the Jaipur Palace Restaurant is pleased to announce we will be taking part on Thursday 24 April, 12 noon - 12 midnight. This will be the focal point of the week when the Lord Mayor of the City of London will host his Curry Lunch for 1,000 people at Guildhall Yard, London.
On our curry lunch day, Thursday 24 April 2008, each customer will be asked for an optional donation on top of the bill. We are aiming for at least �1 per person.
The World�s Biggest Curry Lunch initiative is being supported by famous names including actor Ewan McGregor, chef Gary Rhodes, England rugby player Josh Lewsey, TV presenter Fern Britton and founder of the Curry Club, Pat Chapman, who are all backing the event and urging people to get involved.
