Responsibilities:
- Creating PowerPoint presentations to Media Managers and Account Directors
in Advertising Agencies - local and international
- Suggesting layouts and designs to clients for advertisements in publications
- Setting annual sales figures and budget projections for individual publications
and ensuring marketing support
- Strategy formulation and implementation for future business potential -
planning special reports, forecasting targets and monitoring competition.
- Negotiating Barter deals for Holding Company
- Closely monitoring competitor publication business, and filing daily, weekly,
monthly and yearly statistics.
- Market research aimed at qualitative customer responsiveness.
- Database Management for global and local advertisers according to industry
classification
- Extrapolating data relating to readership analysis and distribution figures
- Handling dispute clients and providing solutions in trouble-shooting areas
- Coordinating with critical departments within the publications - editorial,
circulation and production.
- Event Management - Sponsorship of renowned Music Groups (i.e. Peter Andre
Show, Paul Young Show); Sport (i.e. Dubai Raft Race, The Rugby Sevens Tournament,
UAE Marlboro Desert Challenge); Exhibitions (i.e. Photovision, Dubai Summer
Fair).
- Regular liaison with Advertising Agency from briefing of concept to final
copy of promotional materials/media kits, and coordinating with print and
production departments under tight deadlines
- Participating in international exhibitions and representing the company
at seminars; setting up of booth and organizing POP materials
- Dealing with suppliers and other company associates.
- Other administrative and office duties.
