Tattoos

Ok, so we all took a day and went down to Providence, Rhode Island and got tattoos! I guess it was a sort of sick bonding ritual kinda deal, but we did it anyway! And it was fun! Steve the tattoo guy was kinda weird, but Shani insists that he is adorable..he was nice....but adorable..I don't know..check out the pic and let me know what you think. Anyway, so Shani was there like a big mom with her camera taking before and after pictures! Here they are!

This is Steve the tattoo guy. Weird, don't you think? I sure did, but this is the guy who did our tattoos and he was great, I have to admit. But he sure does look scarey here!

This is a before and after of my tattoo. This symbol is known as the Borre Knutten. It is the olderst viking engraving in existance and was discovered in Borre, Norway. I was originally going to get it on my heel but Steve said that it would lose all of the color and wear off so I decided to get it on the top of my foot. It looks great with sandals and hopefully won't sag when I am an old lady!! Just doing the viking heritage thing!

So we all were pretty brave. I must admit I was surprised when JEN got a tattoo!

See, we all knew that Jen went there with no intention at all of getting a tatto, but under peer pressure she folded and here she is now: Inked for life. It is a Chinese symbol for something and I just can't remember what it is..I'll have to ask...Hehehe..the same goes for Shani's tattoo, but don't tell her that I don't know that either! Eh! They'll be happy if you ask them anyway! Ok..here they are the before and after pictures!

The weird thing is, Shani was originally going to get some sort of women's symbol, but changed her mind at the last minute to do the Chinese character thing too. I don't know about the Chinese thing. I guess I would be afraid it said something like pork-Fried Rice or something, you know? Oh well..

I was Sooooooo happy that I got mine done!! See the simle on my face..I think I was a little more happy that I had survived!!

We all thanked Steve for his patience! We kept the place open WAY past midnight!
