EL AUTOR DE ESTE SITIO

     El autor, don Jaime J. Vera, residente en Valparaíso, Chile, es Profesor de Estado en Historia y Geografía y Licenciado egresado de la  ex Universidad de Chile, Valparaíso y además de dedicarse a la docencia en universidades y colegios de la región, ha investigado largos años en los campos de la Historia, la Etnohistoria, la Paleohistoria y Arqueología locales y realizado diversas publicaciones de sus descubrimientos sobre Etnohistoria y Arqueología Chilena, en revistas chilenas y  extranjeras.

      Antiguo miembro de la filial Valparaíso de la Sociedad Chilena de Historia y Geografía, es investigador independiente acreditado en el Archivo Nacional de Chile, etc. También ha realizado numerosas exposiciones museográficas y trabajado en Museos de la Quinta Región. Actualmente se dedica a la investigación y difusión del patrimonio.

 

THE AUTHOR OF THIS  SITE

The author, Jaime Vera, residing in Valparaiso, Chile, is Professor of History and Geography and  a graduate U.CH. and besides being dedicated to education, who has researched many years in the fields of Regional History, Etnohistoria, paleohistory and Archaeology, and conducted various publications of his discoveries in archeology and ethnohistory of Chile, Chilean and foreign magazines.

 

Former Member of Valparaíso subsidiary of the Chilean Society of History and Geography, independent accredited researcher in the National Archives of Chile, etc. It had also conducted numerous museum exhibitions and worked several years in the museums of the Fifth Region of Chile.
