Welcome To The Home Page Of

J.A.I.L. 4 Judges - New Mexico Advocates

Welcome to the New Mexico Advocates of the

Judicial Accountability Integrity Law (J.A.I.L.) Web Page

We are dedicated to the sole purpose of promoting this legislation to be enacted, by the legislature, in the State of New Mexico.

I could certainly do no better in explaining the purposes of the law than to quote the Preamble of the J. A. I. L. :

We, the Legislature of New Mexico, find that the doctrine of judicial immunity has been greatly abused; and when judges abuse their Power, the People are obliged, (It Is Their Duty), to correct that injury, for the benefit of themselves and their posterity. In order to ensure judicial accountability and domestic tranquility, we hereby amend Article I of our Constitution with these provisions, which shall be known as "The Judicial Accountability Amendment."

I invite you to use this site as a place where we all can meet, and share our opinions, experiences, ideas, suggestions and even criticism.

Please download the law and become familiar with its' contents. We may have a few flaws that need correcting. If you catch one, please let us know.

Please share with your family, friends and neighbors. If you have any question or if I can be of assistance in any way, I'm here to serve.

Thank you.

Jeanne Cornell
