| Behind each face is a story Behind each story a fear That makes each person human A collective of experience Walks the earth in conscious contemplation And even denial So many just exist Carried by a stream they call life Some experience torrential rain and raging waters While others drift with purpose Life is a process of living People seeking purpose - acceptance All are searching for a feeling That they believe will make them happy But what if they never find it And what if they knew they wouldn't Would they give up hope And render their own lives pointless Or would they turn their search inward To the only place the feeling they desire exists Would they then learn to live |
