Some More Inquiries

There's a lot more that does not meet the eye initially and many will never, which are equally responsible for a project or an undertaking of practically any sort.

Date: 21/April/2000
I have received a few letters inquiring about the various reasons for site and of its exhaustive nature. Since most of this is already answered in earlier replies, so here the same is put in point wise.

1. To propagate Ballroom Dancing as a universal art through out the world.
2. An endeavour to propagate the art and sport of Ballroom and Latin American Dancing in India.
3. To show that all movements in Ballroom dancing are common to many Indian classical and folk dances.
4. To cater to those who love it.
5. To those who might be interested but due to certain unavoidable conditions are unable to proceed.
6. Often in India when one wishes to learn dance, the person is asked to get a partner. A very small group could be there who have genuine interest but fail to get a partner.
7. Books, videos, and music for ballroom dancing are not really affordable to quite a few and neither are they easily available.
8. Whether learning for a competition or otherwise the case is similar to academics. If one has a teacher the growth generally is faster than otherwise. Also there are       examples of such self-taught people who have risen to great heights, though the group       is small.
9. To establish a benchmark for the Indians when the proper functional councils are formed.
10. To start a movement to get a lot of character from Indian repository of classical dances into the Dance-Sport such that the ability to express becomes more powerful and easy to pick-up.
11. India cannot remain behind when these are taken up in Asian Games and the Olympics. The site can be the material already available to work further up.
12. The psyche has to be Indian to work with fervour against those whose culture accepts such dances more easily.
13. This is also my research work to improve myself.
14. My students not satisfied with me when I do not wish to progress with them as per their expectations can always go to the site. I normally do not wish to proceed further until the basics are not perfected to at least a bare minimum standard.
15. The more a person understands me, the better we can communicate and the better the person will get.
16. I need more money directly or indirectly for my sustenance.
17. If I aim from the competitions point of view the matter on the site will be of some more value than otherwise.
18. Dancing is complex body movements and to explain all or at least the maximum part of it makes it exhaustive.
19. Different people have different patterns of understanding, so I am trying to fit in as many different patterns as possible, which again makes it lengthy.
20. A dance is just not physical movements it is also mental conditioning, which I am trying to highlight.

Above are some of the reasons for the site, which are as they appeared when, writing to you.

Thank you, and with regards,
Jai
