God Dancing?

This is a photograph of a bronze statuette of Lord Shiva and Parvati, who are in a contra promenade dance figure. Such movements commonly occur in the Latin American dances.

Shiva is the Indian God of Dance and Parvati the Goddess is his consort. Any and every Indian dance invariably starts with the reverence to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva has many names as Shankar, Nataraj, Mahesh, Mangesh, Mahabaleshwar, and many more. And so also Parvati has many names, and one of them is Gauri.

There are many more instances also, of Lord Krishna dancing in Ballroom/Latin American hold and postures with the "Gopi".
