The Texas Medical personal consists of  2 Surgeons and a couple of Nurses when not alone fall under the command of the chief medical officer at the events we go to.  The Chief Surgeon there is very well versed in the medical practices of the time period. At events the men and women of the unit participate in scenarios that have turned a few stomachs in the crowds during amputations and surgeries.
