The Area

Beautifully located Danish-owned estate for rent in Nyons Drome Provencale. The property is situated in a peaceful valley 400 feet above sea level (3 miles east of NYONS) and has a beautiful mountain view and a large swimming pool, which is open from the beginning of June until the end of September.
NYONS is a lovely little town with 6500 inhabitants, a medieval centre, plenty of shopping facilities and a Provence market open every Thursday. The town is situated on the border of the Rhone valley and the Alps, and there are a great variety of activities in the area. The tourist office at "Place de Liberation" can help you with detailed information.
The NYONS area is known for it's very pleasant climate with approximately 300 days of sunshine a year.

The Estate

The Estate comprises of two separate buildings (A & B). The buildings can be rented together or separately (see further below for details). The total estate area is 200 sq. yards, and the garden area 3000 sq. yards, which includes a swimming pool (15 feet wide and 30 feet long).
The Estate has two kitchens, four bathrooms and sleeping facilities for 10 persons. There is a washing machine, a parking area and everything you would expect to find in a modern home.
When needed, the house can be heated by electricity, an open fire and an oven.

Building A comprises of a self contained Studio with a double futon bed, kitchenette (with sink, oven and refrigerator), separate bath & toilet and a private terrace facing south with pool view.

Additionally there are two separate (double ) bedrooms, both with en-suite bath and toilet.

Building B (marked "bygning B" on the drawing)

Building B is the main building with two bedrooms, for two persons each, seperate bath and toilet, a well-equipped kitchen, a living room with satellite television (mainly German and English/American channels) and 2 private terraces - one of them with pool view.

We let from Saturday 4.00 pm to the following Saturday noon.
You need to bring your own bed linen and bath & tea towels.
You must clean the house when you leave.
You will be required to pay a deposit of 1000 DKr / 135 Euro up front in addition to the rent. The deposit will be returned to you in full upon you returning the keys, provided that the area you have rented has been left properly cleaned and undamaged.
