The next morning, Will started to open his eyes and flinched at the bright light surrounding the room. He groaned and turned onto his back. He looked up at the ceiling and then remembered last night. He turned his head and saw Sarita sleeping peacefully next to him. Her lips were half parted and her soft cherry hair fell down behind her and a
few strands lay on her smooth neck. Will smiled as he watched her breath in and out. Her eyes fluttered open and when they focused on him, she smiled.
�Hey.�
�Hi. Sleep good?�
Sarita looked at him. �Yeah.�
Will bit his lip. �Any regrets?�
Sarita took a moment to think and then shook her head. �No.�
Will looked at the clock. �I should call Hamilton. See what happened.�
�Yeah, wonder if Bella�s awake. I need to tell her about the most wonderful night I had.�
Will chuckled and bent down to kiss her. �You�re amazing.�
�No, you are and you are so gentle.�
Will smiled and then got up to get dressed. Sarita took a moment to watch him before standing up and getting some sweats and a shirt on. When they were decent, they went downstairs and saw Bella, Jake, Hamilton and Scout crowded around at the kitchen table eating breakfast. Sarita and Will shook their heads and headed towards them.
Bella looked up and stood up from her seat. �Sarita!� She grabbed Jake and the girls ran to Sarita and whisked her into the living room. Will raised an eyebrow and sat next to Hamilton.
�Well�?�
�She said yes.� Hamilton smiled.
�All right!� Will slapped his hand.
�I knew she�d say yes! I just knew it!� Scout said with a smile.
�Hey, where were you and Sarita last night dude? We tried calling.�
Will blushed. �Um��
Scout looked at him and it dawned on him. �Did you guys�?�
Will nodded.
Hamilton�s eyes widened. �Was she okay with it?�
�Yeah. I must have stopped like 5 times before she bopped me on the head and told me she was fine.�
�I�m glad you�re happy, Will. You were beginning to worry us.� Scout said jokingly.
He got two napkins in the face for that.
In the living room, Sarita looked down, blushing under the scrutiny of her friends.
�Oh my gosh, you did! How was it?� Jake asked.
�It was amazing. He was just�oh God, he knew just what was okay for me and what wasn�t. He only messed up once.�
�Yeah, how?� Bella asked.
�Way he whispered he loved me in my ear.�
Jake shuddered. �Right. I had to help Hamilton with that for like 2 weeks.�
�Yeah but after that�he was perfect. I�m so lucky to have him.�
�You definitely are.� Bella leaned over to hug her.
�So Jake, let me see that rock!� Sarita grabbed her hand and squealed. �It�s beautiful!�
Jake laughed. �Thanks.�
�So what did you and Hamilton do all night?� Sarita asked.
�We went to the restaurant where we had our first date and then went home and just spent the entire night to ourselves.�
�Did you guys�?� Bella winked.
�No, the baby kept on kicking. We�re trying for tomorrow night though.�
Bella and Sarita looked at each other and just laughed.

Jake lay on Hamilton�s bed reading Romeo and Juliet in her long cotton blue maternity nightgown. She felt a kick and chuckled.
�Hey sweetie.� She rubbed her tummy. �You�re up.�
Hamilton walked in and smiled. �She kicking?�
�Like crazy.� They laughed.
Hamilton got on the bad and put a hand on her tummy. Jake took his hand and put it where the kicking was. A few minutes later, the kicking stopped, meaning the baby was asleep. Hamilton looked up at Jake.
�You�re so beautiful.�
Jake laughed. �I am not.�
�Yes, you are. I knew it the moment I saw you.�
�Hamilton.�
�Yeah, yeah, who cares?� Jake looked shocked. �I just care about you.�
Jake smiled and pulled him in for a kiss. They kissed for a few minutes and then pulled away, their faces a few inches apart.
�Make love to me.�
Hamilton smiled. �What?�
�Make love to me. The first time was like�magic. I want to feel it again.�
Hamilton smiled and kissed her deeply. �I love you, Jacqueline.�
�I love you too, Hamilton.�
Hours later, Hamilton held Jake close to him and stroked her arm looking down at her. He kissed the top of her head and placed a hand on her stomach.

A week later, Sarita was sitting in front of the gas station. Everyone was at school, except for Jake, who was on her way but had to run somewhere really quickly. Sarita sighed and stood up to stretch when she saw a familiar car. She put her hands down and her eyes narrowed. The car stopped and a guy got out.
�Ryan.�
�Knew I�d find you here.�
Sarita folded her arms. �What are you doing here?�
�Your mother wanted me to check up on you.�
Sarita scoffed. �My mother? The woman who thinks that I allowed someone to ruin my life?�
He shrugged.
�You just came for an apology. Well your not getting one. I really thought you cared enough.� Sarita walked into the gas station and went behind the counter. Ryan followed.
�Sarita, I didn�t mean to shrug you off.�
�I got pregnant, okay? I always thought you�d take care of me. Guess I was wrong.
Well don�t even try apologizing. I�ve found someone else and he cares about me and he isn�t afraid to hold me. The minute I told you, you left. It hurt so much.�
�I know, and I came for another chance.�
�At what? You lost it. I�m with someone else now. He knows how to take care of me. He�s there for me unlike my family�and the person I thought I loved.� Sarita ran out of the gas station quickly missing Jake.
�Rita? Sarita!� Jake turned her head and saw Ryan. �What did you do to her?� Jake turned back to the direction Sarita ran off and ran after her.

Sarita ran onto the grounds of Rawley Academy and looked around. She ran to the docks and looked around. She sat down on the docks and started to cry.
�Sarita?� a voice asked.
She looked up and saw Scout holding an oar over one shoulder with a tank top and shorts on. �What�s the matter?�
When she stood up, Scout dropped the oar and hugged her.
�Where�s Will, I need Will.�
Before Scout could answer, Hamilton showed up.
�Sarita?� Hamilton touched her shoulder.
�Hamilton, where�s Will?� Sarita asked
�He�s in the common room.�
Sarita pulled from their arms and ran towards the school and then Jake ran over.
�Hamilton.�
Hamilton and Scout ran to her. �Is she okay?�
�I don�t know. I saw someone at the gas station and I think he upset her.�
�Oh God her ex.� Scout sighed.
Hamilton put his arm around Jake.
In the common room, Will was studying when he heard crying. He looked up and dropped his book. �Sarita!� He ran over and hugged her. �Sh, it�s okay I�m right here. It�s okay.�
Scout, Hamilton and Jake ran in and they all sat Sarita down.
�Are you okay, sweetie?� Jake asked once she hugged her.
�I�ll be okay. Why did he have to come?�
�He didn�t hurt you did he?� Hamilton asked.
�No, he didn�t.�
Jake�s phone started ringing.
�Oh, sorry.� She got up and walked to the other side of the room. �Hello?�
She listened while the guys talked to Sarita. When she hung up, she walked over to them biting her lip.
�What�s up?�
�His trial starts in 5 months. That was my lawyer.�
Sarita gasped and Hamilton put his arm around Jake.
Will held Sarita close.
�Will we have to testify?� Sarita asked.
�Yeah. My lawyer told me I needed more proof of rape. Isn�t being bruised and cut enough?� Jake walked off.
�Jake!� Hamilton sighed.
�I�ll go after her.� Sarita said. �Where is she going?�
�Up to the roof, she always goes there �
�The roof?� Sarita gave Hamilton a weird look and went after Jake.

Sarita got to the roof and looked for Jake, finally finding her sitting on the ledge looking down.
�Jake?�
Jake looked at her. �How did you know I was here?�
�You�re boyfriend.�
Jake nodded. Sarita walked over to her.
�See that huge tree that stands out of the other ones?� Jake pointed.
�Yeah.�
�That�s where I was raped. I remember looking up at it and it just continued to grow.�
�My therapist told me that if I forced myself to go to the place it happened, I�d find peace.�
�Where did you get raped?� Jake asked looking at her.
�I was at my friend�s cabin. It was so huge.�
�Have you gone there?�
�No.�
�I�ll make you a deal.�
Sarita looked at her. Jake licked her lips. �I�ll take you where it happened to me�if you take me where it happened to you.�
Sarita looked away so she was facing the direction of the tree. She gave Jake a quizzical look. Jake just shrugged. �Okay. Yours first. Let�s tell the guys.�
�Okay.�
Sarita helped Jake up and they headed downstairs.
