The 2002 Halton Business Hall of Fame

Background

Established by Junior Achievement of Halton in May 1999 in cooperation with the Regional Municipality of Halton, the Halton Business Hall of Fame was created to draw attention to the tremendous contribution made by local businessmen and women to the economy and growth of the Region of Halton. Our region was built by entrepreneurs who with vision, determination, hard work and leadership have achieved success during their lifetime. Through them, jobs were created and their products and services helped establish the high standard of living we enjoy today.

Laureates are selected for induction into the Halton Business Hall of Fame for their "outstanding and enduring contribution to improving the products, the processes, the efficiencies and the human relations of business."

Generally speaking, nominees must have had local business involvement and be considered as a "senior statesperson" in the enterprise in the enterprise in which they gained their prominence.
