Ken Carpenter
Burlington Technologies Inc.
Ken Carpenter is the President, C.E.O & C.O.O. of Burlington Technologies Inc. (since 1990).

Prior to his current position he was Vice President of Burlington Die Castings Ltd. and held numerous other management and production positions from 1985 � 1990.

He is a graduate of Appleby College in Oakville and attended both the University of Western Ontario and the University of Guelph where he studied Business & Economics and Computer Science.

His community involvement includes the following:
  1) Chairman & Director of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association of Canada (A.P.M.A.) � 1995-2001.
  2) Vice-Chair, Director & Trustee of North American Die Cast Association for Ontario Chapter (N.A.D.C.A.) � 1990-2001, and Director for the Canadian Die Cast Association (C.D.C.A.) � 1998-2000.
  3) Director of Materials Manufacturing Ontario (M.M.O.) part of the Ontario Centers of Excellence (O.C.E.) programs � 1999-2001.
  4) Director of the Canadian Automobile Association (C.A.A.) for south central Ontario � 2000-2001.

Other Community Support

He has been involved in local fundraisers and charities for many years from the Canadian Red Cross Association, The United Way of Hamilton-Wentworth-Burlington, The Burlington Sound of Music Festival and recently The Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital �Tomorrow is Here� capital expansion program.

Ken believes it is important to personally and corporately support the local community and give back something to it as often as possible.
