Town of Furnas |

|
Within a long extinct volcanic crater can be found the town of Furnas. Hot springs, caldeiras and mineral water taps can be found throughout the town. At the near by lake, town's people place cooking pots in pre-dug deep holes in the sand and return hours later to find their meals cooked and ready for dinner. |

Bubbling caldeiras can be found troughout the town. These pits of boiling water are well marked with danger signs. |
