I am an Anatomy and Physiology, Advanced Biology, and Health teacher. I absolutely LOVE my job. Each day, something new and exciting happens. I never know what to expect. I love what I teach, too. I adore science and how it constantly changes. My professional goal is to teach my students to love science as much as I do. To do this, I try to provide an environment for my students that incorporates all aspects of learning. I want my students to leave my classroom with a desire to learn more. I want them to challenge themselves to apply what they have learned in my room and use the skills I have taught them to learn more.

Anatomy and Physiology
Anatomy and Physiology usually has 28 students per class, and it is offered twice a year.
I really challenge these students to be their best!! I love to see them use their thinking caps!!

Advanced Biology
Advanced Biology is only offered once a year. It is a relatively small class, and it is the only advanced science class offered at NPHS at this time.
I am a biology major; so, I get to have a lot of fun in this class. We conduct a forensics unit at the end of each semester.
This past year, we "murdered" the principal, and my students solve the crime, using forensics experiments! It is AWESOME!!!
This year's crime scene!

Health
I also teach all of the 9th grade health classes. We have a GREAT time, studying the three main aspects of health - mental, social, and physical.
Health is a requirement for all of our students.
