The CCA Jaguars lost to Adams County three times last year, once in the league championship.  This year was a different story though.  Grant Giesler got the game started off with two big rejections of Adams County shots to set the tone defensively. Offensively, CCA opened the game with a 24-6 outburst and never looked back, eventually winning 89-51 in a route.  The game was the biggest offensive output of the season for CCA.  Four players scored in double figures and every player scored.  Grant Gieseler tallied 21 points, 7 rebounds, and two blocks.  Phil Poetter added 16 points and 6 steals.  Joe Johnson had a season high 14 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals.  Freshman phenom Jake Santel had 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.  The Jaguars advance to the ACSI South Regional at Ridgeville Christian.  CCA will battle with Xenia Nazarene in the Regional Semi-Final Game on Friday night.  Xenia Naz is the top seed in the tournament and defending state champ.  CCA is the 4th seed in the tournament.
