The rain is falling
and i'm sitting by the window all alone
the rain is gently pattering on the ground
suddenly the wind blows,
and it gets cold
it makes me realize how much more alone I am.
and the rain hits the ground harder
The lightning flashes into my room,
shocking my senses,
and i get a feeling of emptiness
it's hollow
it's empty
it's lonely
and it makes me cry.
where are you?
why aren't you here?
before I start sounding selfish,
i just want you to know
i miss you.
