Etta May was married in the mid-1890s (before 1896) to John Allemann (born about 1870 in Switzerland, immigrated to United States about 1893), and divorced sometime before 1919. (John was living with son, James A. Allemann and James wife, Georgia, in the 1920 census in Galena, Jasper County, Missouri, and John and Etties daughter, Alice Alleman, was living with Ed, Ettie, and baby Theodore Markham, in Galena, Jasper County, Missouri.) John Allemann and Ettie Marcum had at least two children that I know of, Alice M. Allemann (born about 1903, in Missouri), and James A. Allemann (born about 1896, in Missouri) who married Georgia Steddum. James and Georgia had three children, John E. (born August 13, 1920, in Missouri, died March 27, 1995 in Quapaw, Ottawa County, Oklahoma), Ethel M. (born 1923, in Arkansas) and James G. Allemann (born 1925, in Oklahoma, died February, 1975, in Miami, Ottawa County, Oklahoma).
