McPHERSON - Linda C. Keller, 60, died Dec. 6, 2006.
Survivors include: a son, Chris; a daughter, Jennifer Crouch; her father, George Steddum; two brothers, Gary and Eugene Steddum; three sisters, Anne Olden, Judy Doty, and Janet Sue Tegue; three grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, McPherson.
All Faiths Funeral Services, Wichita, is in charge of arrangements.

Willis Ray Dutton, of Fair Grove, son of Emory and Anceline (Sluss) Dutton, was born Sept. 28, 1936, in Clintwood, Va., and departed this life March 17, 2008, at his home. At the time of his passing, he was 72 years of age. Willis worked at Reyco for many years and retired as a machinist. He served our country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Jehena Dutton. Survivors include his wife, Connie, of the home; two daughters, Debbie Conte and husband, Michael, of Chesapeake, Va., and Tammy Dutton, of Fair Grove; two sons, Willis Dutton and wife, Tina, and Kenneth Dutton, all of Fair Grove; eight grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Chris, Robby, Aaron, Rachel, Josh and Shelby; two aunts, Easter Sykes and Cora Ferrel, both of Clinton, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services for Willis Ray Dutton will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 20, at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, with Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. (Ozarks Newsstand 2008)

FLOYD W. FLUKER, 76, of Houston died Monday, August 16, 2004. Mr. Fluker was born March 21, 1928 to William Hardy Fluker, Sr. and Thelma Floyd Fluker, and was raised in Ennis, Texas. Mr. Fluker attended Texas A&M University in College Station before joining the U.S. Navy. After serving his country in World War II as a meteorologist, he graduated in 1951 from Baylor University. Mr. Fluker then moved to Houston and worked as a Certified Public Accountant. He was a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Mr. Fluker was preceded in death by his parents and brother William Hardy Fluker, Jr. He is survived his wife of 52 years Susie Fluker; daughters Susan Lynn Piatt and husband Loyd of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lane Anne Gergely and Husband Tony of Seguin, Texas; grandchildren Jonathan F. Perry, Misty A. Perry, Heather Baggett, Kenneth W. Paitt, and Timothy C. Piatt. Memorial service will be conducted at half past one in the afternoon on Friday, August 20, 2004 in the Hankamer chapel at Second Baptist Church 6400 Woodway with Dr. James De Loach and Rev. Biff Johnson officiating.

Longtime Alaska and Soldotna resident Don C. Bradford died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at home near Soldotna. He was 89. A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Soldotna/Sterling Funeral Home, 35910 Jawle St., behind Big John's Tesoro. Nathan Morrison will officiate. Mr. Bradford will be buried with his wife Beatrice at Fort Richardson National Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Bradford was born Sept. 27, 1919. in Alamogordo, N.M., the oldest son of Doss and Vivian Bradford. He was raised on a ranch that is now a part of White Sand Missile Range in southern New Mexico. He served in the U.S. Army for 27 years. He started when the Army still used horses for maneuvers and ended with his being one of a few special weapons inspectors in the country. During his career in the U.S. Army, he served as an infantry sergeant in Europe and later in Korea as a warrant officer. He was qualified for many awards with both rifle and pistol after the war, while stationed in Germany. He was stationed in Alaska beginning in 1962. He was at Gun Mountain Lodge on a caribou hunting trip during the 1964 earthquake. He left Alaska in 1966. He retired in 1967 with the rank of Army Warrant Officer Grade 4. Mr. Bradford returned to Alaska in 1989. Mr. Bradford was very active in the Church of Christ throughout his life. He was a preacher and song leader from approximately 1952 though 2005 and worked with congregations in Texas, New Mexico, California, Washington and Alaska. He maintained correspondence with many preachers and religious educators throughout the United States. He was considered by many to be a religious scholar of note. Mr. Bradford was an avid hunter and fisherman. His love of the outdoors was one of the things that brought him back to Alaska. Mr. Bradford was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Beatrice Effie (Ingram) Bradford. He is survived by his children, Don Bradford Jr. of Anchorage, Doss Bradford of Spokane, Wash., Darlene Steddum of Santa Monica, Calif., and David Bradford of Soldotna; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter, Max and Jack Bradford, all of California.
