Leica R3 Safari
Leica R3 (1976 - 1979) with an electronic Leitz-Copal CLS shutter was based on the Minolta XE-I (The Minolta XE-7 is an exact copy of R3 except the lens mount), all the R3's were produced in Portugal except 500 in a chrome finish and 1,500 in black finish were made in Germany.  This is a Safari model which was made between 1977 and 1978, 5,000 were made with an olive green finish and beside the regular serial number, each had a special number engraved on the pentaprisem.  This camera is "A333".
