Cedars-Sinai, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her mother, Connie, sister Ginny, two brothers, Robert and David, and two nieces, Jessica and Danielle. Some of you will know Karen from GemStone (Kali/GM-Aelshide), some will know her from Barney's Beanery, others still will have worked with her at eUniverse, We will all remember her with equal fondness. While Mom was a little skeptical at first, having 40-50 of Karen's friends and co-workers showing up was a wonderful experience. I took only a couple of pictures, and I'll post them here in a couple of days. Thanks to everyone that showed up, and thanks to everyone that couldn't make it and passed on your kind thoughts.
A more formal memorial will be held for her family and closest friends in her hometown of Homestead, Florida, sometime in September. Email me for information.
