The Dracoid Ruins
These ruins are huge, larger in fact than all of the areas in Sphere One combined. You'll need your compass. You’ll visit this place a few times on at least two different quests, find new items and explore the never before seen. Or at least not seen by anyone living today.
Once called Tsar’Ille, but even the Huline scholars of the monastery don’t remember. At the Emperor’s request, it was sunk beneath the Bane River. This hidden subterranean area is very strange, and so dangerous that you'll be fortunate to make it out alive.

During and before the Great War that erupted between the Huline and Dracoid, Tsar'Ille was the grand capital of a flourishing nation. But after Belial tricked the Dracoid into war with their neighbors, the Emperor became ashamed. On his deathbed the last Emperor, by the name of AkSalar, repudiated his involvement with the Ancient Belial. Written records were burned, the pictographs obliterated, and scored of governmental employees (and even a few Grand Ministers) executed. The capital was undermined and the great city sank beneath the great Bane River.
The Dracoid were a very advanced people, and the evidence shows when you go down into the Ruins. Towards the north there is a machine used to view the Speaking Stones that you can find scattered across the lands; AkSalar did not know that they were being put to use on their side though, for one of them records the Emperor's death.

What is little known to the outside world is what happened to the Dracoid that stayed in the city even after it sank beneath the River; for they waited for Belial's promise to return. But after many generations, in the muck and poor living conditions, they turned into poisonous, multi-tailed lizard beasts known as the Ssar.
For the Game
When you first visit the Ruins the only entrance is to climb down into a deep ditch and search for the entrance to what looks like a cave. On the outside on a pedestal will be a scroll. When you first enter you will be in what almost is like a hallway, except the walls and miscellaneous bricks and such around you.
The first creature you will see is a creature made of stone- and he throws purple plasma balls from his mouth. You must watch out and not panic, for a real effective tactic is just to go right up to it and swing away with your best weapon. Where those creatures come from is not known, but it could be suggested they were made to protect the city after it sank.
If you wonder into
the first real big area you get to quickly make your way left and you will soon
come to a river over a cliff. Using your Spark Spell, you may light the pedestal
next to you and a bridge will appear. Wonderful! Now just cross and you will be
safe- for the time being.
Right before you do get to the bridge area though, there will be
a door to your left. If you enter you will be upon a room with dragon statues
and a mirror with the outline of a snake-like dragon design. Step through, and
you are magically transported to another place....
Actually the mirror brings you to a room with three more mirrors up in the top part of the cavern ruins. One mirror is the one you just came through. The next and middle one will transport you to the Dracoid Cemetery (and where you come out will be your way back in) and the third mirror will bring you out into the middle of the jungle and leave you there. So now you have two entrances to the Ruins: the easier one now being the statue of the dragon lady you see when you first are in the cemetery, before you used the key the Huline shaman gave you.
You will run into many Ssar down here in the Ruins, there is no doubt. Luckily though, there are plenty of places you can hide. But my best advice is to stay put in one place until you turn into the lizard- he is your best bet out of here, and there are at least two places he can go that Luther himself cannot. One of them is a path on top of a ridge before you get to the door with the mirror that leads you to a tavern area.
There are three important areas down
here. The first is the Mage Tower. You get here by going pass the double doors
with the first mirror. This is where you will need your fighting skills and a
globe from the Dracoid cemetery. I recommend going in here with a good plan-
otherwise your Ssar meat.
The second place is a building to the northeast. You will go through red and
yellow colored double doors. Go up the stairs and out unto the balcony. There is
a piece of the railing you can knock over by pushing on it. Follow the path as
far north-east as it will go and you will reach a very huge lake. This path will
help you on KaDan's quest once you talk to him in the cemetery.
The third place is another building that you need to find a way into. It's not
hard, just look for an opening. Inside is the statue of Belial that you need to
awaken for AkSalar's request. Doesn't that sound fun.
