WHY BAN?

1. Good god, look at him. He's HOT. He's like one of the best looking anime characters I've come across in a while. Most of the new anime I get to watch suck, plus the character designs are pretty lame (for me at least). Ban's character design is pretty simple, but still, he looks great. I love how they draw his eyes...and I love his eye color (blue, my fave =p ).

2. I like his special power. No, not the Snake Bite thing nor the 200-kg grip. I'm talking about the Jagan. Dreams and stuff like that have been fascinating me for a while now, and the thought of just looking at someone in the eye and conjuring up a dream or a nightmare for them is pretty cool.

3. His attitude's pretty cool. He's the right mixture of happy-go-lucky and serious. I mean, he can get pretty serious, and sometimes he seems kinda scary, but the comedy bits involving him balance that out. And I think that his money-hoarding attitude has pretty funny results. I remember when he was kissing up to Madoka and other rich clients...he was just so darn silly. =p

4. HE CAN PLAY THE VIOLIN. Good GOD. I LOVE the violin. Violin music is the earthly equivalent of BLISS and NIRVANA. Fine, fine, there are lots of other anime characters who can play the violin (ex. Quatre of Gundam Wing, Fao of B't X), but are any of them as cool as Ban? I don't think so.

5. He has varying looks, but he still looks hot whichever look he chooses to go with Sometimes his hair is down, sometimes it's spiky, sometimes he has his purple glasses on, sometimes he doesn't. Either way, he still looks good. =p
