| Being Involved: I am the captain of the cheerleading squad along with my home Nicole Thomas and I will be the manager for hte Jacksonville College Women's basketball team. Your Major: I am currently a Business major and I am considering a minor in Medicine, Sports Medicine, or Education. When I graduate from Jacksonville in May I will be recieving my Associates in Arts. Being a JBC Cheerleader: I was really excited after I came to try-outs kind of spur of the moment to leave finding myself with a scholarship and an organization to be a part of. It was a wonderful feeling to konw that I was going to be active and that I have so much fun doing and be able to get a full time college education. Being A Captain: It is a privilege to be a leader in whatever organization that you are apart of because if people think enought of you to lead them that has to stand for something. I have been a captain of my Vollyball squads, basketball teams, a leader in choir and in my church. The squad has been through alot the past year we are growing and we still have a long way to go. But I chose to stay just like my other homie Nicole and we want to make this experience an enjoyable and unforgettable one for each person on the squad. When people come to college the want to feel apart of something, something special, and something they can call their own. That is what I want for each young lady coming in to this year and for them to make lasting friendships. I just want to say thank you for allowing me to be you captain for hte 2004-2005 school year. Nicole and I will do our very best to make sure that it is special and fun for you. The Rest of the Squad: Amy: She is my room-mate next year (I can use someone I can relate to age wise) and we have fun together! She is a great person who has tons of ideas and I look forward to rooming and working with her on the squad next year! Tiffiney: She is a really sweet girl who has tons of potential and a wonderful attitude about any situation. I think that she will be a very positive assest to the squad! Heather: She is also a sweet person who has a wonderful ethic coming from the Cherokee Charmers. She is very disciplined and that Nicole and I will appreciate next year because that has been somehting that the squad has been lacking on in the years past. Scarlett: She is a wonderful asset to the squad as well, she comes with a lifetime of experience and a passion for what she does. She has a good atttitude and likes to have fun (especially dancin', lol...) I know she will bring alot to the table. Nicole: My dearest Nicole! We have been through a tough time in this past year but we stuck it out and we are still here now and now we are the captains. We have so much fun together and we are on the same page if you know what I mean.lol...I am looking rorward to working along with you this year and helping the squad get to where they need to go in the years to come. You my row dawg to, I love you man! lol... I am looking forward to cheering with all of you this year, lets make this year an unforgettable one! |
