Dear Prospective Jaguar Cheerleaders:

We are the Jacksonville College Cheerleaders and we are holding tryouts April 16th and 17th at the Curtis Carroll Fieldhouse.  The 16th of April is the first day of the tryout process, in which you will be learning the tryout material (cheer and chant) and we will have a sleepover so that you can have ample time to get the cheer and chant learned.  We ask that you be there anytime from 6-6:30pm, but if you need to come earlier to see the campus, meet other students, or will be late, please let us know.  Included with the nights cheer and chant will be an interview session with the captains and other activities to get to know you on a one-on-one level.  On the 17th breakfast will be served and we will begin stretching at 7:30am.  At 8:30am, the tryouts will begin and be completed no later than 10am so that you can attend Jaguar Day for the afternoon.  This will give you a chance to ask any questions you would like to know about the school, eat lunch at our facility, and see the dormatories.  Either the sponsor, Lisa Curran, or one of the two captains, Nicole Thomas or Oseana Johnson, will give a call later on that day to let you know your results from the morning session.
We would like to say how excited we are about the upcoming year's squad and look forward to having new attitudes, new faces, and taking part in different things in the 2004-2005 school year.  We hop to see new and vibrant faces at tryouts.
Good Luck! And we will see you there!

If you have any questions please call:
