Rules for Officers

- Officers cannot promote anyone for any reason. 
  This is so the GM can identify new recruits 
  and demoted members (quality cross-check).

- Officers can demote anyone who deserves a demotion, 
  such as breaking rules. First, always, always warn the offender 
  and explain what they did wrong. Demotion should come only 
  if they blatantly break the same rule, again. 

- Officers can kick any members who are breaking rules 
  and will not calm down, and are causing a disturbance.

- For all demoting and kicking there must be screenshots taken, 
  and a letter sent to the GM explaining what happened. 
  The picture must be given to the GM upon request… 
  failure to take a screenshot means you are no longer an officer!

- Officers are to never exercise their power 
  unless a rule is broken, period. 
  Anyone caught abusing their power is no longer an officer.

- The GM has total say, it is not a mandatory “vote”, or a “cabinet”… 
  the GM will listen to all Officer input; but does not HAVE to follow it! 
  But rest assured… the GM is intelligent, educated, mature, AND reasonable…
  Your input will be listened to, and votes will be taken 99% of the time.
 
- Remember, the people are what make JAG run, 
  so while the GM has total power to make rules, 
  if a rule is upsetting the public, inform the GM.
