Letter to King Duncan
My Dear King,
I am pleased to inform you on my success. I, Macbeth, Thane of Glamis have
successfully vanquished our enemy , the traitor Macdonwald. It all started
with the heat of battle. My men charged, swords drawn against the foolhardy
Norweignians , whilst I searched for the traitor Macdonwald. I rushed at
him and demanded he yield , but defiant as he was he attacked. I defended
myself , and after a series of clashes , I stuck my sword straight into
his wretched body twisting it around until he died a wretched cold death.
In the meantime, my men attacked and drove off the Norweignians. Banquo
himself had many kills to his credit and I was being hailed for killing
Macdonwald. Of course it was all in a days work. Banquo and I will be coming
in a few days and we shall rejoice in a grand feast.
Yours truly,
Macbeth
