JENNIFER ANNE F. MESSING is a freelance author whose poetry, meditations, articles, and stories have been published and reprinted numerous times in many inspirational magazines and book compilations. She was born in the Philippines and currently resides in Oregon with her husband and their three children. From October, 2002, till October, 2006, Ms. Messing served as president of the Oregon Christian Writers Association, a statewide nonprofit organization with 350+ members.
She graduated with honors from Covington Theological Seminary in Rossville, Georgia, U.S.A., where she received a Bachelor of Religious Education degree in 2002. She also has a Diploma in Freelance Journalism and Short Story Writing (1992) from International Correspondence Schools, Scranton, Pennsylvania U.S.A. ~ Manila, Philippines Branch. Ms. Messing's stories and articles have been featured in over 55 different magazines and book compilations, including More God's Abundance (Starburst Publishers, 1999), Families Can Bounce Back (Christian Publications Inc., 2001), Nudges From God (Obadiah Press, 2003), The Secret Place, Standard, Evangel, Live, Bible Advocate, Seek, The Proverbs 31 Woman, Romance Rendezvous, Mocha Memoirs.com, Light at Home.com, and The East County Gazette.
For the past fourteen years, Ms. Messing has served in church ministry as a worship leader and a worship vocalist, and at various times she has been involved in leadership of small groups and Bible study groups. She has at different periods of her adult life been employed as an executive secretary, executive assistant, retail sales associate, and assistant teacher in an after-school elementary program ~ which has given her many enriching experiences to deepen her writing.
In her spare time, Ms. Messing enjoys watching old-fashioned romantic movies and going on picnics and outings with her family, reading, cooking and home decorating, surfing the Internet, exercising and being creative with personal beauty and fashion as well as dating her husband and sweetheart, Michael.
