Another day for Talia Winters begins when she is walking to her first appointment of the day.  She walked from the lift to rondavue with her client.
Walter James was a business man from Mars and was going to be working on a trade agreement with the Drazy.

Talias mind was going though all the details of the meeting in her head when loud noises and shouting could be heard down the hall.

Talia looked out into the crowd to see what was going on when she saw a teenage boy bolting down the hall right at her but before she got the chance to react and move out of the way, the boy plowed into her.  Talia fell back and onto the man that was walking behind her.

The man caught her fall and asked, Are you alright?

Before Talia could respond, a flash of images raced through her mind.  The man asked if she was Ok again and this time Talia just nodded and walked away her face was pale as though she had just seen a ghost.

Talia stopped at the nearest Babcom unit and canceled all her appointments for the day, and then asked to be patched though to C&C to speak with Captain Sheridan.  Talia sat and waited fidgeting, with the hem of her skirt, for Sheridan to answer the call.  When the COM came to life her breath caught in her throat at the sight before her.

How may I help you Miss Winters?  Commander Susan Ivanova asked when Talia said nothing.

God shes beautiful Talia thought to herself but then asked out loud, I asked for the Captain.  She said it a little more harshly than she wanted, but the last time she had to go though the Beautiful Russian Commander it took the better half of two weeks to get a meeting with her. Talia only managed that because she bugged and nagged the Commander everyday to speak with her.

Before Talia could change what and how she had said her statement, a very annoyed Commander snapped, Well Miss Winters the Captain is not available, hence the reason I am answering this call, but if you would rather speak with the Captain only, then I will be more than happy to put you back on hold until

No! No.  Speaking about this with you is just fine Commander.  Talia said with a rush to say her piece before Ivanova cut the channel.

Very well Miss Winters, whats on you mind? asked the Commander with a smug look on her face.

Talia took a deep breath and sighed it out, annoyed with the smugness that the Commander was displaying.  I cant talk about it here I will need to meet with you in person.  Now, Commander time is of the up most importance.  The blond telepath said seriously.

Ivanova looked at Talia for a moment then nodded her head and said, Lt. you have the Com till I return.

Off the screen Talia hears Lt. Corwan say,  Yes Commander.

Ivanova turned her head back to the screen and says to Talia,  I will see you in the conference room in fifteen minutes Miss Winters and then before Talia had a chance to say anything Ivanova cut the channel.

Talia walked into the Conference room and saw Susan standing facing the window with her back to the door.  Talia Stopped and looked at how strong and beautiful Susan looked.

She is very strong but very feminine at the same time.  That doesnt happen often. Talia thought to herself.

"Have a seat Miss Winters." Ivanova said, before Talia opened her mouth to let Ivanova know she was here, not even turning around to speak directly to Talia.

Susan turned and smiled at the confused look on Talias beautiful face.  She caught the telepath off guard and that was bliss.

Talia recovered quickly to her credit, nodded a greeting to the Commander and sat down.

Susan look at Talia and said Ok Miss Winters you have my undivided attention.  What is so urgent that you needed a meeting at this very minute?

Susans eyes sparkled at the telepath, who was now squirming in the seat across from her, while Susan was leaning on the back of her chair.

Talia looked into the Commanders sparkling blue eyes and trembled.  A wave of desire shot through her body.  Talia closed her eyes briefly to compose herself, opening them she asked, Does the name Marcos Rico mean anything to you Commander?

Right as Talia said the name Commander Susan Ivanovas mirthful expression sunk off of her beautiful face replaced by her normal all business demeanor.

Ivanova looked at the telepath seated before her and then said, Well Miss Winters now you do have my complete attention.

The commander turned her chair around as to face the blond telepath and sat down waving her hand indicating that Talia should continue on with her tale.

Talia looked at the commander and gave a small smile before she began informing the Commander all that she had seen and felt when she had bumped into Rico.

Commander, you know that I dont try to scan anyone, but when I fell into him, I could see bits and pieces of what he planed to do to those different ships.  I canceled all of my appointments for the day in order to let the Captain know, so if you would Commander, I would be most thankful if you would, inform the Captain that I really must speak with him."

All right Miss Winters I will go tell him now.  If you would please wait here and I will return as soon as I can.  The Captain is in a meeting with the Non-Aliened Worlds right now so it may be a little while. Commander Ivanova said as she rose from her seat ever so gracefully.

Susan began to walk towards the door and then stopped and looked back at the blond telepath now staring off out the window.  Susan allowed herself to take in the stark beauty of the telepath knowing that she was not ever going to be able to indulge in anything farther that that.

Of all the people on this damn station I would have to find the Psi-Corps Telepath the most stimulating and beautiful? Susan thought to herself

Susan smiled and asked out loud to the silent telepath, Would you like something to eat?  I can bring something back after I relay the message to the Captain.

Talia was staring off thinking about how much she wished she could tell Susan how she felt about the her. Commander Susan Ivanova had confused, intrigued, and excided Talia Winters from the very first time she laid eyes on the elusive, and that time, Lt. Commander.

Talia had been trying to get in contact with the second-in-command of the station, Lt. Commander Susan Ivanova.

Talia had read all she could find on the Lt. Commander before she arrived to the station, because Talia would be required by the Corps to report directly with the second-in-command.

She had found out that the Lt. Commander was a very loyal and outstanding Earthforce officer.  One that had been promoted through the ranks of command very quickly through hard work and merit alone.

Talia respected this greatly, and thought that she would be able to get along with woman very easily.

She had also read about how Ivanovas mother was a telepath and had died when Susan was young.

Talia had thought she was completely ready to meet and deal with the Lt. Commander of Babylon 5.

Upon the time she arrived on the station to discover that, one, the Lt. Commander was just really busy and just did not have the time right now to speak with her, or two Ivanova was ignoring Talias attempt at reporting to her.

After two weeks of trying to make contacted with Ivanova, Talia decided that direct approach was the best course of action so therefore Talia went to C&C and to speak directly with the Lt. Commander.

She discovered that Susan was indeed trying to avoid speaking to her since she received such as cold reception at C&C.  This intrigued, confused, and excited Talia to no end, because she had never gotten that reaction before.

She had always received a warm reception, though mostly from males whenever her presence was noted and never been treated so briskly before.

It was almost like a challenge to see who would get their way so the seeds of a very interesting relationship, to say the least, began to grow.

Talia was jolted out of her reverie by the sound of the Commanders beautifully husky voice.

Hmmm?  Im sorry Commander I didnt hear what you said.  Talia said then looked down at her hands and blushed out of view of the Commanders intense gaze.

Susan looked at the blond telepath and smiled a bit and re-asked her question, I asked if you would like me to bring you back some lunch.  It is going to be a little while before the Captain will be able to wrap up with the Non-Aliened Worlds.

When Talia looked up, Susan gave an easy smile to let Talia know that there is a 'truce' and Susan was thankful for the information that Talia had brought to their knowledge.

Talia took a breath at how, when Susan smiled, it lit up the whole entire room.  Thank you very much Commander I would very much like that.  It has been awhile since I have eaten. Susan was rewarded for being nice by recieving a warm and bright smile from Talia.
I may have to be nicer more often if she continues to smile at me like that grinned Susan.

Very well Miss Winters I will return shortly.  Susan felt as though the temperature in the office rose at least ten degrees at the sight of Talias beautiful smile and Ivanova turned and left the office.

When Susan returned to the office she found Talia had moved to the couch where she was now curled up with her feet tucked under her body and her head resting on the arm of the couch.

Susans lips curved up into a seductive grin thinking about how gorgeous the blond telepath looked awhile sleeping.  Susan slowly walked over to the desk never letting her eyes stray from the telepaths sleeping form.

Susan placed the bag of food on the desk and walked slowly over to where Talia was silently sleeping. She knelt down and raised her hand to brush a stray hair from Talias beautiful face, but stopped just before she touched the slumbering telepath.

Talia smelled the Beef Lo-Mien from the time Commander Ivanova entered the room.  She was expecting Susan to say something about the fact that she had fallen asleep, but when the Commander said nothing and then continued to walk to the desk without so much as a word.  Talia decided to keep her eyes closed and pretend to remain asleep.

Talia wanted to open her eyes to look and see what Susan was doing but didnt, even when she felt Susan walking towards her.

Talia had to tell herself to breathe when she felt and heard Susan kneel down in front of her.  That was when she gave into her urge to open an eye slightly to see what the Commander was doing.

What she saw almost made Talia stop breathing all together, Susans hand was reaching out about to touch her face.  The look she saw on Susan Ivanovas face was one of sheer longing, melting Talias heart completely, but Susan's hand stopped and Talia waited, telling herself over and over again to breathe.  She watched heartbroken as Susan retracted her hand and then stood and moved away sighing disappointingly.

Susan walked back to the desk sighing and pulled open the bag and layed out the food she brought back with her.  Thats when she felt Talia watching her.  Susan continued to pull out the food as she heard Talia sit up and then stand.

Without turning she lifted a plate and held it out so Talia could take it from her, Here.  Its Beef Lo-Mien I hope you like it.

Susan turned as Talia took the plate from her hand and smiled.

Talia couldnt keep the smile from her face when she saw Susans.

Thank you Commander I do like Beef Lo-Mien.

They sat in conformable silence each deep in their thoughts.  Ivanova focused her eyes on Talia now back sitting on the couch and gazing unseeing at the observation port. It was overlooking the garden and Talia was eating her Lo-Mien using chopsticks with negligent ease.

Susan couldnt help but watch as Talia slowly pulled some of the noodles free from each other with her chopsticks and then raised her (Susan just noticed) ungloved hand lifting the food to Talias red lush lips.

Susan was entranced by the beauty of Talias hands.  This was the first time she had seen them and found they were the color of fresh milk and looked like silk. Oh, did Commander Susan Ivanova want so very badly to touch those silky white hands.

She shook herself out of her observation to observe her food, namely that she didnt have any on her fork and already had it up to her mouth.  She immediately became very interested in finding the right amount to place on her fork to compensate for the oversight.

Talia had noticed this oversight as she ate her food quietly. She had an inner smile at the fact that the Commander found her more interesting than the Commanders food (and loved her reaction to not having any food on her fork).  She secretly enjoyed having this effect on the Commander and truth be told the Commander had a similar effect on her, except she worked hard to not let it show (not that she wasnt caught on occasion).

This Lo-Mien is quiet tasty Susan. Im surprised at how good it is.

Yah well, there are a few places to get really good food besides the Open Air Cafjust dont ask me what type of meat it is.  I've found its best not to ask. Susan said with a sly grin and chuckle.

Hah! Dont Ask Dont Tell for Lo-Mien. Whod have thought it, Talia said and was rewarded with hearing the hearty laughter from the Commander who caught her military joke about the food.

Well, thank God we dont have to worry about that any longer. Susan replied pointing at Talia with her fork.

Grabbing the commander with her icy blue eyes Talia asked, Well Commander Ivanova who would you ask?

Susan was stunned and could not look away from the sultry blue eyes to respond to the question; the only thing that was going through her mind was
God she is beautiful.

Commander, youredropping Lo-Mien on yourumm...knee! Talia said in a chuckling whisper.

     Oh, Shit"

Commander! I thought you wanted to see me and not curse out your food. Captain Sheridan barked with a half grin he just couldnt wipe off his face.

Oh, Hello Sir! Ivanova stood up at attention with a salute, barely noticing that she
Used to have a plate of Lo-Mien on her lapIt now was on the floorher nicely shined boots, and well generally went everywhere.

Ivanova barely heard Talias giggles over her own embarrassment as she could feel the heat rising up into her cheeks, then her ears, and Susan was sure if she were bald, her scalp would be bright pink by now.

Uhmsorry sir.  This iswellMiss Wintersyou seethat isis here to see you about that thing she saw out there. Susan stuttered her way through the introduction while she squatted down and tried to clear up the mess she had just made of her COs floor while in her head she was shouting out curses in three or four different languages.

Susan saw Sheridan smile  Yes Commander I do know who she is and why shes here.  Shall we retire to the meeting room? Sheridan began walking back towards the door when he stopped and turned back to speak.

Commander you can join us once youve finished your...er lunch on your uniform, he finished with a sly smile and walked out of his office.

Ivanova hung her head low trying to hide her embarrassment as she said,  UhYes Sir.
Ivanova was too busy trying to clean up the mess that she didnt realize Talia had not left the room.

Susan began muttering to herself as she scooped up Lo-Mien with her hand and more or less flung it back onto the plate which it originally occupied.  In mid-fling Susan jumped at the sound of Talias voice.

Commander? Would you like some help? Talia asked in a small voice seeing she had caught the Commander off guard.

Susan allowed her eyes to trail up along the lithe form before her before she answered the telepaths question.

Talia felt the unmistakable tingle of desire and want rush through her body as though it was liquid fire.  She feels that quite a lot because many men and women radiate it.

Talia was quite aware of her own appearance and that she is considered very attractive to many people but this time she wasnt sure if she was getting the feeling from the Commander or if it was her own feelings about Ivonova.

Before she had the chance to figure it out she was drawn to the Commanders voice.

Thank you Miss Winters I think I have it and the Captain is waiting for you.  I will be there in a few moments. Susan finished as she surveyed the damage and sighed.

Ok, Commander if youre sure. When Talia saw the Commander nod her head Talia slowly walked out of the room with a pause at the door to make sure Susan didnt change her mind, but of course the Commander didnt and she left.

Miss Winters! The Captain greeted and then motioned towards and empty seat. Have a seat and well begin.

Talia took her seat next to Delenn who was seated next to the Captain.  Delenn gave Talia a warm smile and a hello.

Everyone looked up when the door slid open.  Talias heart and mindset fell as Security Chief Michael Garibaldi walked in and took a seat right next to Talia and said, You looked thrilled, so who pissed in your cereal this morning?

Talia just rolled her eyes at the cocky smile on his face and looked at the Captain to start the meeting.

Sheridan gave an annoyed look Garibaldis way, as Garibaldi shrugged, the Captain began the meeting.

Commander Ivanova arrived shortly after Talia began, sat down and began writing down information on a data pad.

When Talia had finished retelling the events the Captain turned and asked, Options?

Garibaldi was the first to speak being this was his field of expertise. Well Captain I think we should start off with getting more information on this case and then we can arrest him.  Miss Winters is right, we cant just arrest him without hard evidence; it wont hold up in court.

I agree Captain.  It is best to follow the procedures concerning this matter. Delenn agreed in her smooth calm voice.

The Captain didnt look happy about the option and the Commander knew it.  Captain we do have another option. Ivanova put down her data pad and began to give her ideas.

When she was finished everyone agreed and then stood to leave when the Commanders link sounded. Ivanova was needed in C&C so she left without really saying good-bye.

Just as Delenn was walking away from the table she saw the pad that Ivanova was working on and picked it up so she could return it to the Commander. But as she walked out of the meeting room she read it and was surprised at how good of a poet the Commander was, Delenn read the poem over once again as she walked:

You seem so posed and assure of yourself
Sitting there prim and proper
Stating with ease the "root" of the problem and
Pleading with your eyes so tenderly
For our help in this matter.
I would give anything to help you
and see you smile your radiate smile again.
Im always aware of your presence.
Parts of me scared, Parts of me glad you are near
ALL of me wants to be closer to you but unclear how.
I push you away because Im scared of getting too close.
Worried I will lose someone else I have grown to care for.
You look at me to gain my insight, though I never know why You put up with me and my attitude and how I treat you is mostly
   Rude.
You see a stern, stoic woman in this chair
Could you tell when you look into my eyes that I care?
Whenever I see you, I feel no one else is there.
You see, I feel you know me like no other
so I push you away to protect you from me
Though Id love to have you near me constantly.
In your eyes I find laughter and peace
And in your laughter I hear a release
Of tensions and frustrations of the day.
And I decide to find a way to be friendlier to this
Blond Haired Beauty that sits before me.

Delenn walked out of the room smiling when she met up with Lenier and as he bowed Delenn stopped and said I think its time we plan a dinner party and then walked away with Lenier looking rather confused at her side.
