    ===========
    Description
    ===========

    Decay is a screensaver which will corrupt	the current desktop in a
    variety of ways.

    ============
    Requirements
    ============

    32-bit Windows (developed in WinXP, should work in others).

    ============
    Installation
    ============

    Place "Decay.scr" (and optionally "Decay.scr.manifest") with your other
    screensavers (usually in "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM" or "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32").

    To uninstall, remove the above files. Its settings are stored in the
    "control.ini" file in the Windows directory (usually "C:\WINDOWS") in
    the "Screen Saver.Decay" section.

    =======
    Options
    =======

    Decay: a random rectangle is randomly shifted up, down, left or right.

    Melt: as above, but the screen will eventually become black. Before
	   that happens, though, the desktop will be restored and it will
	   start again.

    Fuzz: a random horizontal line is shifted left or right, then a random
	   vertical line is shifted up or down.

    Icon:  nothing but icons.

    Movement: the selected direction(s) will occur more frequently.	"In"
	      will shift towards the center, "Out" towards the edges.

    Delay: timing control (milliseconds).

    Iterations: the number of decays per delay. Only a tenth of this value
		is used with Melt.

    Icons: icons are continuously added to the desktop.

    Icon Frequency: the speed with which icons are added.

    ============
    Distribution
    ============

    The original zipfile can be freely distributed, by any means. However, I
    would like to be informed if it is placed on a CD-ROM (other than an
    archive compilation). Modified versions may be distributed, as long as
    the original zipfile is included (I would prefer to be contacted).
