At the start of this project I came to an agreement with two other students. I recruited them to help me while I in turn would help them with their projects. I asked Colleen Blackburn and Shannon Steck. Since they both were doing projects on a similar subject, I thought that it would work out. In my Journal it explains how many events have turned out. I have been constantly asking each of them every week if they had anything I could help them with and in turn they said that they did not. Finally Shannon and I went to a Humane Society, there we interviewed someone and took a tour. I organized the whole thing. Shannon did tell me she wanted to go to the one by her house in Oceanside, I thought this was fine. This benefited her as well as myself. Later on the three of us met at Shannon's house and worked on our Web Sites. I recall a few instances in which I helped them on small things, but nothing very large. In March I got more anxious because Shannon had graduated and I was left with Colleen. Finally we agreed on making posters, she broke our plans a few times. Then I agreed to call more people and find out about some kind of assemby or what not where people could learn about animal care (for me) and euthanasia(for colleen) at the same time. This would mutually benefit us. I had to make the plans and talk to people because Colleen would not speak to anyone, not even use the telephone. She is way too shy, even more so than myself. Since there was no explanation of how much we needed to help each other, I am convinced that, yes, we did help each other, at least a small amount.
