One of the, if not the biggest Dragonriders of Pern Play By E-Mail RPGs there is. Fast-paced, hectic, and, yet, comforting, all at the same time. Their website is awesome. It's what sold me, heh.

THE place to go for any information you need in JKR's world. There's no place where you can get better, more accurate information, not just on the characters, but on the entire wizarding world. Even comes with a currency converter that converts dollars into galleons, sickles, and knuts.
Perhaps the largest collection of HP fic on the web. Separated into novel length fics, romance fics, humor fics, angst fics, and more, the greatest place for a HP fanfic fan to go.
As the URL says, this is a H/Hr site. A very good one, too, and I especially recommend the reading of The Slightly Skewed Recaps, found on the Extras page. It will make you laugh so hard, you'll cry.

A Ranma crossover fanfic archive, organized so that all the different fanfics are separated into different pages according to the fandoms. Awesome, and well worth checking out.
I love this guy's fics. Some people think a few of his crossovers are laughable, but I love them all. Warning: the fics are all very strongly anti-Akane, anti-Genma, and anti-Ryouga.
If you're a Ranma fic reader, you know this guy. Or, at least, you know his fics. Go, if only for his all mighty Just Won't Die series, a Ranma crossover series that spans probably over thousands of pages. Go.
Yet another author whose works I enjoy, particularly since this one is a bit anti-Akane, too. Or, at least, anti-Akane/Ranma. Mostly matches Ranma up with girls outside the fiancee brigade.
And sequels, all by Deborah Goldsmith. This fic, and the sequels, all explore what Ranma's life would have been like, had it had a very different beginning. Highly recommended.
ASMR is perhaps the biggest Sailor Moon archive there is. Of course, like ff.net, it has a downside where even bad writers can submit their crap, but there's recently been more screening, and there are a group of ASMR Beta Readers that authors can submit their work to for editing and stuff.
Smacking badfic down since 2001. Hilarious, and, yes, bitchy. This site tells it like it is, saying what we've all wanted to say for years, restrained only by propriety. Well, screw that, says the Fic Bitch, and I for one cannot agree one fucking iota more than I already do. Complete with a Great Hall O' Crap, a You Know You've Written a Bad Sailor Moon Fic When..., and plenty more.
A shrine to the Shitennou, of the manga. For those only familiar with the horrible anime, the Shitennou are the Four Heavenly Kings. As they were meant to be, before the anime fucked with the original.
Mamoru, the way Naoko Takeuchi made him. Before the anime mucked things up, like it always does, this was the way Mamoru was known. A shrine, to that perfect man.
A Michiru/Haruka shrine. This being me, the Michiru and Haruka in question are, of course, their far more appealing manga counterparts. The anime just about screwed everyone up, and do not even get me started on the dubs.
The largest archive of GW fics that I am aware of, without an ouce of yaoi (male-male slash fics). Don't get me wrong, sometimes I like yaoi, but the GW fanfic community fairly drips with it. Moderation is more appealing to me, and so I find refuge here.
Heh, yeah, you're seeing right. A site devoted to a relationship between Trowa Barton and Dorothy Catalonia. It appeals to me, because Dorothy is one of the only two GW female characters that I actually like (the other one is Lady Une).
A gigantic story, composed of many arcs. A look, a serious, realistic look, at what would happen if the world had found out who the Gundam Pilots really were. Dark, angsty, and utterly believable.
A Chloe Sullivan fanfiction archive for pieces of fanfiction where the featured major pairing is one where Chloe Sullivan from Smallville is paired with a character from another fandom.
...Or, you know, don't screw Clark, as the case may be... The place to find fanfics that answer the Chloe/anyone-but-Clark challenge, because we all know that Clark doesn't deserve someone as great as Chloe, that hick doo-doo head.

Very useful, with translations of all the un-subbed dialogue in the three LotR movies. In depth analysis of many things, descriptions of engravings and other such things. Very interesting, and very awesome.
