Breeding Basics
Please keep in mind that both the mare and stallion must be willing. There will be NO force breeding. Mares come into season every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They may only breed on those days. Foals should be born on Tuesdays ONLY. On the Birthing board Shètan will post whether your foal lives or not and if there were any birthing problems. After that the remaining foals can be taken back to their territories. Twins are allowed but not all will survive so keep this in mind. Foals age 1 year every 2 RL weeks. At three years they may leave their parents to begin their own herds. Colts MUST leave at this age but fillies may stay within their original herds.
Before returning the foal to his/her herd this information must be posted somewhere on the birthing board.
