What the Hell I think of the U.S. Patriot Act
** In my opinion **

We better ask ourselves just why the hell is it necessary for the government to know what we read/write/etc.  How many books have you bought called: How to be a Terrorist?  or Terrorism for Dummies.  (Of course if you were buying these books I'd advise you to seek professional help)  I guess my point is is that I have the right to keep a rounded scope and that means reading what the other guys who don't agree with public policy have to say... But if I read these books the F.B.I. can put me on some list to be watched for future terrorist activities.  Who would have thought that reading could be considered terrorism... Better pull teaching kids to read off educational curriculum...  We could be creating terrorists

I also think the internet thing is a bunch of crap... Who the hell cares what websites I visit... I visit websites all the time just for the hell of it or out of genuine curiosity or from pure boredom...  So if I somehow become interested in how a bomb works (operative words being how and works) I look it up and there's a bunch of websites that tell me how to build one (And no Mr./Ms. F.B.I. agent, I'm not even remotely interested in building one).  Bing-bada-boom... I'm considered a threat to national security all in the name of curiosity...  Lesson here:  Curisiosity apparently breeds terrorism.

And as for being watched for not agreeing with public policy?  Um yeah... Mr./Ms. F.B.I agent... Go read our first ammendment.  It says right there freedom of speech (and a few other things)... It's there so I don't have to worry about you, Mr./Ms. F.B.I. agent coming and knocking on my door... And it's always one of the things that separeted US from THEM... We have the right to say our country sucks without worry or fear that we'll end up in some unknown scary place.... But now... Will it be a padded room?  A cozy rat-infested cell?  Or how about a nice ditch?

What's worse... you could be watched without even knowing it... All because you read a book... or visited a website... or expressed opinion not agreeing with public policy... Those checkpoints called a warrant are a thing of the past...

It is my opinion that we need to stop being sheep... The very rights this country was founded on are disappearing fast.  So WAKE UP and smell the coffee I'm servin up to you here.
