Notes: This is my first time posting at this community... I only joined a
couple of weeks ago after told me about it. I have never responded to a
challenge before, and I have never written fluff... but I hope you guys like it.
It was really hard for me to keep this under 1,000 words.

Harry stared up at the hourglass that was mounted on the wall of the empty
dungeon classroom. Draco was already 15 minutes late. Being that they only got a
chance to meet two or three times a week, he couldn’t imagine what would be
keeping him. It wasn’t as if he had an abundance of spare time. Between
preparing for their upcoming N.E.W.T.S. under Hermione’s grueling study
schedule, his ongoing Occlumency lessons with Snape, and trying to squeeze in
time with Ron so that he didn’t feel neglected, Draco was frankly quite lucky
that they got any time together at all.
Harry drummed his fingers on the desktop. He really hated the situation that he
and Draco had fallen into. He cared for Draco a great deal. He found himself
growing more and more attached to him everyday, but it seemed like there was
nothing but obstacles surrounding them. Draco couldn’t tell anyone about his
feelings for Harry. His family would see it as a betrayal to what they jokingly
referred to as "the cause". The other Slytherins would tease him
relentlessly if they knew he was courting a Gryffindor. But it isn’t like
Harry had it much easier. He couldn’t tell his best-friends about the budding
romance either, He couldn’t even tell them that he fancied boys. He knew that
Ron would start thinking about all the times that they had been naked at the
same place at the same time and wonder if Harry had been covertly sneaking
glances at his bits. Or even worse, he might get insecure and jealous and wonder
why Harry hadn’t been looking at his bits.
Hermione, on the other hand, would want to adopt Harry’s love life as her new
project. He could envision her making a list of all the available boys at
Hogwarts and trying to calculate the probability of their sexuality. The list
would then be cross-referenced by age, interests, and physical appearance. There
would probably even be a section for the size of their endowments. He cringed
just thinking about that little glint in Hermione’s eye when she began working
on a new project.
No, It was easier this way. He didn’t want anything or anyone to get in their
way. He loved spending time with Draco. Discovering the little things that made
him laugh, listening to him rant about the stupidity of his housemates and their
blind devotion to "the cause" or their loyalty to their families that
saw them as nothing more than an inconvenience. Once you got past the arrogant,
self-absorbed façade, Draco was actually a great guy. He had a great sense of
humor, beautiful eyes... and he was an excellent kisser.
Harry suddenly felt an arm wrapping affectionately around his torso as a pair of
soft lips came in contact with the side of his neck. He glanced at the hourglass
again. 35 minutes late. ‘I’ll have to scold him later’ thought
Harry as he leaped out of his chair and threw himself into Draco’s open arms.
"What took you so long, you inconsiderate git?"
"Miss me?" Draco responded innocently as he wrapped his arms around
Harry’s waist. He lightly knocked his head into Draco’s as if silently
telling him to quit being a prat before resting his head for a moment on his
shoulder.
Draco lightly kissed Harry’s neck again. Harry sighed contentedly and breathed
in Draco’s scent.
"I had to write a letter and send it a bloke who might be leasing me a flat
in London. It was rather hard to find muggle paper, an envelope, and those
little stickers you have to affix. It would have been so much easier if I could
have just sent it via owl post. It’s so complicated having to deal with
muggles."
"A flat? Why would you need a flat in London?" asked Harry, pulling
away for a moment to look at Draco quizzically.
"Well... the term is almost over..." said Draco hesitantly. "and
I don’t particularly fancy having to try to sneak you into Malfoy Manner to
get to spend time with you... and from what you’ve told me about your muggle
relatives, I doubt they would allow me to floo in either..."
"Yet, you think they’d allow me to go to London?" asked Harry
sarcastically
"No, but Harry you are now legally an adult. You don’t have to stay there
anymore," Harry stared back at him trying to figure out exactly what Draco
was saying. His heart had started pounding, but he didn’t want to be
presumptuous. He studied the expression on Draco’s face carefully, looking for
an explanation. "The flat is for US Harry." Draco
whispered.
Harry blinked and simply stared back at Draco in disbelief.
"You’re asking me to... to move in with you?"
"That’s what I thought I was doing." Draco replied coyly.
Harry wrapped his arms around Draco again and squeezed him tightly. He felt the
sudden urge to jump up and down and scream. He couldn’t remember the last time
something had made him this happy.
"Should I take that as a yes?"
Harry couldn’t even finds words to respond to that question. The best he could
do was give in to his desire and pulled the blonde off the floor with him as the
jumped up and down and erupted in laughter.
After a moment of bliss, he felt Draco grab him by the hand and begin to lead
him out of the room. Harry resisted.
"Where are we going?"
"Well, if we are going to be living together, I think our secret is going
to get out... and I was thinking... why wait?... Why don’t we have lunch
together? There is still a good twenty minutes left before we have to go to our
next classes."
A big grin spread across Harry’s face. He pulled Draco in and kissed him
passionately before allowing himself to be lead out into the common area.
This was definitely going to be an interesting lunch.
