Some things about the developed world that you aren't supposed to know
It's called a MONOPOLY folks
The military is the most environmentlaly destructive force in the world.

The US Pentagon produces more toxic waste than the 5 largest mulinational chemical companies combined, a ton of toxic pollutants every MINUTE.

F-16 on a regular training consumes
3 400 litres of fuel.

in less than an hour the plane uses twice as much gas as the average US motorist during one year- approximately 1364 litres
An armoured division (348 tanks) consumes 2 271 000 litres of fuel in one day.

B-52 bombers consume 13 671 litres of fuel in one hour.

F-16 consumes 908 litres of fuel in one minute.

F-4 Phantom consumes 6 359 litres in one hour.

Us citizens alone spend $8 billion on cosmetics annually - $2 billion more than the estimated annual amount needed to provide basic education to the world.

Europeans spend $11 billion on ice cream also $2 billion dollars more than would be needed to provide clean water and safe sewers for the rest of the world's population

In 1999
the assets of GM are larger than the total GDP of Indonesia which is fourth largest country in the world.  (GDP means gross domestic product, which is the total wealth in assets of a country or company)

Wal Mart has a GDP the size of Austria

Exxon (US), Royal Dutch Shell (Netherlands), and Toyota (Japan) have more economic clout than the entire economies of Poland or the Phillipines or the 130 million people of Pakistan

The assets of the 3 richest poeple in the world exceed the combined GDP of the 48 least "developed" (aka countries that dont want to confine themselves to the western ideology of capitalism only to be exploited by it)

The assets of the world's 225 richest people (60 Americans included)  total over $1 trillion equal to the annual income of almost half the earth's population.
What does it mean to live in a world in which the cost ($40 billion by the UN estimates) of providing basic education and health care as well as adequate food and drinking water for everyone on earth is less than 4% of the combined wealth of these 225 richest individuals in the world???
