Racism...an intersting concept that children know more about than us ignorant adults do
......a first grade teacher asked her class, "what is the colour of apples?"  Most of the children answered red.  A few said green.  One boy raised his hand and said white.  The teacher tried to explain that apples can be red, green and sometimes golden but never white.  The boy insisted his answeer was right and finally told the teacher to "LOOK INSIDE"  (Goldstein, 1999).

Like apples, human beings may be similar on the "inside", but are often classified into categories according to external appearance.
Definately some food for thought............
munch on that;)
