Episode #42 Summary (Minako's Past)

Scene: 1

Ami is looking up places that the Negaverse could be hiding on Earth, but she isn't having much success. Then Usagi comes in out of breath, and Luna is surprised that they haven't found anything yet.

Usagi begins to complain how hungry and tired she is. Luna gets frustrated with her as usual, because she had just been stuffing her face at the sweet shop. She complains that it wasn't enough. Minako walks in, and tells everyone that there were no passageways to the Negeverse through the public baths. With this comment, they all turn to leave. But something on the screen causes them all to look back. It is showing the core of the Earth getting hotter. This is as we all know now, a sign of the Negaverse gaining power. They all go home after this.

Scene: 2
(actually, scene 2 is where Malachite tells Queen Beryl what he has planned, but we see those pictures in practically every episode.  I figured why show those boring old things?)

Usagi just had another nightmare about Darien. Luna is comforting her. Usagi decides to drown her sorrows in odangos (dumplings).

Usagi is shoving some odangos in her mouth when Artemis comes flying through her window, and knocks her over. He appologizes to her, then proceeds to tell Luna that Minako is gone. Meanwhile, all of Usagi's odangos that she was eating are strewn about the room. All except for the one caught in her throat.

Artemis tells Luna that she normally would have taken him with her. He claims the only thing he knows about where she could be was that she was talking on the phone to some one named Katerina. (This shows that either the people at the show screwed up royally or Artemis wasn't with Minako all of the time that she was in England). Meanwhile Usagi keeps on yelling "Water!" When she finally swallows the thing caught in her throat, she says she thought she would die. Then Luna calls her an idiot.
