| A few weeks passed since the announcement of two new children. Amber was excited she was going to have a baby brother or sister. Russel was feeling a bit lonely and so was Del. Noodle wasn�t too sure about dating men yet. Though lots of boys sent her letters and e-mails, she just didn�t think she was ready for such a thing. Russel and Del were just chilling together one day walking through the lobby. They heard a knock on the door. Del was ready to �greet� the new comer when Russel had told him to make himself scarce. Del went back inside Russel�s head and he answered the door. A skinny girl with long golden brown hair stood in the doorway. Her skin color was a creamy gold. She wore dark sunglasses over her eyes. So did Russel. She was very beautiful and Russel was lost for words. �I�m sorry to bother you but my car broke down and was wondering if I could use your phone?� Russel stood there for a minute until he snapped back to reality. �Yeah, sure.� He walked her inside and to the phone. She came back and looked at him. She rubbed her arm. �I have no place to stay and�� �Sure you can stay here. You can use the guest room for the night.� He walked her through heading for the guest room when everyone stared at the two. �And who might this be?� Murdoc said with an annoyed tone. Upon seeing her he put his arm around Jade letting the new comer know he was taken. �This is�I�m sorry I never did catch your name.� �Oh, I�m sorry. I�m Kelly.� She held out her hand and Russ shook it. �Well, I�m Russel, but you can call me Russ. These are my friends Murdoc, his wife Jade, their daughter Amber, 2-D and his wife Sheika, and Noodle.� They all said hi and waved. They all noticed how he for got to mention Del. �What about Del?� �Who�s Del?� Jade told her to hush and Russel made a quick save. �Just a friend of mine that pops up every now and then.� �You wear shades? That�s cool! So does Russ. But that�s because he�s�� Murdoc covered her mouth to keep her from finishing her sentence. �She�s only a year and a half and already has a big mouth.� �Well, she doesn�t get it from me.� Jade said this playfully. �Well Kelly needs a place to stay for the night and I offered for her to stay in the guest room.� Before any one had the chance to speak he took Kelly to the guest room. �Here you go.� �Thank you.� Russel left for her to have some privacy. That new girl is too weird. She wears shades and it�s dark out. So do I. Yeah but you have a reason. Hey maybe she�s possessed too. Maybe she just likes wearing them. Aw how cute Russ. You found a new crush. Shut up! I do not! Russ and Kelly sitting in a tree� You can be so childish sometimes. Back in the guest room Kelly checked to make sure the coast was clear. She shut and locked the door. �OK, you can come out now.� Just then a ghost appeared from her. She looked like Del, but skinnier. She wore black pants and a bluish purple top and shoes, and had long black hair. �Good, I was getting cramped in there.� �Well be sure to make sure you don�t get caught.� "Well honestly if you ask me I think that Russ dude is the same as you.� �You think he�s possessed?� The ghost nodded her head. �No, that�s silly.� �Besides, I don�t really possess you. I just hang around. I go out for weeks at a time with out coming back.� �Well, I�m off to sleep. Keep an eye out for me ok?� �Any time.� Kelly got into the bed and fell asleep almost immediately. The ghost hung around watching over her friend. About an hour later she got board and left to have a look around. She made sure no one was up, and sure enough they were all sound asleep. Accept for Del who was following her. He snuck up from behind her. �Boo.� The girl ghost jumped and turned around. She was face to face with another ghost. �I knew it!� The two said at the same time. �So, what do they call you?� �Janine.� �What a lovely name for a lovely woman.� �I�m just a ghost. Who are you?� �Del.� �Oh, so you�re the one the little girl was talking about?� �Who Amber? Cute kid ain�t she?� He laughed. The two had a conversation going all night in the kitchen. Neither noticed the sun was rising. When it was around eight everyone came in. They all stood in shock as they noticed the new ghost. �Janine! What are you doing?� �Look Mommy. Del has a girlfriend.� �I do not!� The two ghosts blushed. �Now who has the crush?� �Bloody hell! Like one wasn�t enough eh?� �So much for not being noticed.� �You�re possessed too?� �Not quite. I just hang around every now and then.� �So what does this mean Del? You got yourself a girlfriend or not?� Del just stood there blushing. 2-D noticed Russel and Kelly blushing as well. �Guess he�s not the only one.� He gently nudged Murdoc and pointed to Russel. Murdoc laughed. �The Dullard�s right.� �Now what did I tell you?� �To call him 2-D. But Daddy says its true.� �What can I say?� �I think you�ve taught her enough.� �Well. I need to get to the car shop to get my car. Can any one give me a ride?� �I can.� �No you wont.� �I thought you trust me?� �I trust you. I don�t trust your driving.� They all laughed as Jade escorted Kelly to the garage. Sheika, Noodle, and Amber joined them. Jade hopped into the Geep and motioned for the others to get in. �I�m not too sure about leaving Janine alone with that other ghost.� They all laughed. �Who Del? Del is a sweetheart when he wants to be.� �He can also be an ass too.� �What? How?� �He likes to sneak up on people and scare them.� �Oh.� �You have nothing to worry about. Hell maybe he�ll finally fall in love and leave the rest of us alone.� �Seems like he�s not the only one who has a crush though.� Sheika nudged Kelly. �I have no idea what you�re talking about.� �Oh come on and admit you like Russ.� �Well he seems to be nice.� �He is. Last I knew it was Russ�. Murdie�s always claming things as his.� Just then Jade�s cell phone rang. Sheika answered it and handed it to Jade. �You�re night in shining armor is on the phone. Wants to talk to you about taking the Geep.� �Tell him I�m driving.� She told him this and handed it again. �He doesn�t care.� �He�s going to be the death of me one day. Hello?� �I heard that!� �Ask me if I care. Now what�s up?� �You take the Geep and ask me what�s up? Good one. I don�t want you driving while pregnant any way.� �If you�re worried about me getting into an accident you�re doing a good job of me doing so keeping me on the phone.� The girls heard her and laughed. �I know how to drive. They got to the shop and Kelly got her car and followed the Geep back to the studio. Del and Janine were sitting on the sofa having a very pleasant conversation. Jade walked up silently to the two, put her elbows on the back of the sofa and her head in her hands. �Either of you seen Murdoc?� She said quickly. The two jumped and the others laughed. �Well that answers my question.� �No it doesn�t.� �Yes it does. Is it possible to scare a ghost? I just answered it.� They laughed some more as Russel, Murdoc and 2-D came in. �Serves you right you, for scaring everyone else for no reason.� Del mumbled something under his breath. �Can�t you see we�re busy?� �Nope.� Janine laughed. Del looked at her. �What�s so funny?� �Just the way how you all get along.� �So what were you doing with MY Geep?� �I cant believe he�s yelling at me like I�m just one of his band members. He�s nuts. I always wanted to drive Russel�s Geep and he said I could.� Murdoc glared at him. �Why are you letting her drive while she�s pregnant?� �Because she�s a responsible driver.� �No she�s not.� �Compared to your driving she is.� Murdoc looked on in shock as the others laughed. �He�s finally lost for words.� |
