What is
Witchcraft

Witchcraft is basicaly the science and religion of witches. It is what guides the practitioners life and actions. Unlike what popular belief has taught us, witches are not old scary ladies who  worship the devil, eat children and fly there brooms around at night. No true witch would ever do that. Simply, because it is impossible to fly.

Witches do not believe in the devil. That is a christian invention. They transformed are ever loving horned god into there devil so they could get rid of pagans. We also don't have orgies and I have personnally never danced naked under the moon (that is a personnal choice but I wouldn't recommand it unless you want to be arrested for exhibitionism). All those myth where created to scare people. But witches do exist. What do they do? Well they worship the Goddess and Gods, they celebrate the sabbats, they cast spells, prepare potions and powder to help improve their lives or a friend's. BUT NEVER DO THEY HURT OR KILL ANYONE. That is that is our most important law (
Wiccan Rede).

Witches are simply people who are aware that their is an energie present around us, that comes from our mother Gaia (earth) and that there is a way to use this energie to do good. That power is also in all of us. In spells or in any rituals, we canalyze this energie to do whatever we want to do. Ways to that are various: the most simple are meditation, visualisation and concentration.

One question that comes to everyone's mind is wether or not witches do black or white magick. The answer is none. There is no such thing. What decides of the color of your magick is your intention. If you use a spell you found in a white magick book to hurt someone, it'll be black magick. Also, always cast your circle before you do any magick, for you need to protect yourself from exterior forces. A negative spirit could come in while your working your magick and that would be bad.
