| Through the unfamilar jungle and taking caution with each step Jade Leopard seeks for shelter, someplace with warmth away from the wet. Her hunger has driven her this far, away from the comfort of her veil. What lies ahead inside the illuminated pyramid? forthwith time will tell. With no light to see her way, once inside Jade relies upon her senses to find a place to attempt to hide. Lying in quiet, hoping she'd not left her scent along the way, and praying if another does find her, would not take her as their prey. Startled by the scent of dust, Jade Leopard takes her stance. Had Paper Tiger tracked her? Or was it just by chance? Paper Tiger crouches....looks her steadfast over, before locking with her eyes. Had he the power...the ability of keen senses? Did he see through her disguise? Knowing that the consequences of this day, could be death as her fate. She has been forlorn through the journey of life, with envisage of a companion or mate. Many questions within an instant, the utmost being..."would I now fall as Paper Tiger's plume?" She thought Paper Tiger had lost interest, as he turned and walked out of the room. Jade wanted Paper Tiger's attention, but she could not sound a roar. Instead she let down her defenses and follows him through the door. The darkness is nearly upon them, as Jade stands by Paper Tiger's side. Their eyes gazing into each others...knowing this is their abide. What was once two forlorn hunters, that are now twined Journey now together with no concept of space nor time. Some say it wasn't possible...others say its a legend that became lore? But those who are perceptive...knows what Paper Tiger had in store. |
